We will wander up ancient mule trails through high passes, amazing glaciers, alpine meadows and charming hamlets.
We leave France behind us walking through Col de Balme. Amazing viewpoint on the Mont Blanc range, and its stunning peaks pointing to the sky. We walk down to Trient for our first night in Switzerland.
Walk up to the Bovine Alp with its panoramic view of the Rhone Valley and the canton of Valais with the Oberland in the background. At the end of the day: short bus transfer to La Fouly.
We then hike up to the high part of Ferret valley. From le Grand Col Ferret, border with Italy, we'll enjoy the amazing view on Pré-de-Bar and Triolet glaciers and the mythic Grandes Jorasses summit. Short walk down to get to Elena hut.

Descent to Courmayeur before walking up to Plan Chécrouit to enter Veny Valley. The Mont-Blanc can't be closer!! Glaciers, glacial morains and lakes are on the menu today.
Once we'll get to Col de la Seigne, We'll be back to France in Vallée des Glaciers where is made one of the best french cheese. Bucolic climb to the Bonhomme Hut accompanied by the sound of cow bells and the rustle of waterfalls.
A travers to Col du Bonhomme and its viewpoint over Beaufortin area then descent in the alpine meadow in Contamines Nature Reserve following the ancient romain road.
