We leave Cortina di Ampezzo, the Dolomite perl by bus for a short transfer. We enter in the Tofanes mountains hiking up to Guissani hut.
Descent along Val Travenanzes then ascent through val de Fanes, just under the Kreuzkofe.

We'll walk a part of Dolomits Alta Via 3 then Strudelkopf pass and descent to Dürrensee. We are now at the ancient border between Austria and Italy. Using the path through Rienztal we arrive at the foot of the amazing Tre Cime.
After having a look at the military tunnel dug by soldiers, we walk between vertical faces, Croda di Toni, Popera , Cima 11...
We walk along the Cadini di Misurina mountains to reach Lago Misurina. Then back to Cortina.
